&lt;P&gt;The course consists of 5 laps of 14 miles each.&amp;nbsp; Each lap is the combination of the sport, expert, and long loops at McDowell Mtn park near Fountain Hills, AZ.&amp;nbsp; The pre-ride was 3 laps; the 3rd laps is marked up to show the sport, expert, and long loop sections.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Burrrrrrr....it was a cold one!&amp;nbsp; The Dos Niner and 29 inch wheels continue to impress.&amp;nbsp; This bike was made for this kind of terrain.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Conditions were as good as they get for the WR in Nov.&amp;nbsp; About 20F at the start (the visitor's center), 45ish at the finish.&amp;nbsp; Either the sand was gone or my big wheels just eat it up...winds were light and variable.&lt;/P&gt;
